Former Prince of ISIS Turn to Christ after he witnessed God’s Love
Former ISIS leader, who was called as ‘Prince of ISIS’ has decided now to leave the terrorist organization after witnessed God’s Love in a Dream. This motivated him to turn to Christ.
Dr. Micheal Youssef in a programme, ‘Leading the Way’ shared Mohammad testimony. The man, whose identity has been disguised for his safety, is being called Mohammad and used to be a spiritual leader within ISIS.
Mohammad was one of the ISIS leader and teaches Quran to fellow ISIS members. He taught the people how to memorize Quran and inspires his group members towards Jihad.
One day, somebody asked him why he was a Muslim. He did not have an answer so he searched for answer in Quran, Hadith and Sunnah. He wanted to find proof and evidence that Allah exists and Islam is right but unfortunately he found nothing.
Mohammad came to know that Peter was sharing Gospel to Muslims. So, he got Peter’s number, called him and asked him to meet for a talk. Despite the danger of meeting him, he accepted to meet him trusting God.
At the first meeting, Mohammad was scared but he wanted to search for truth. Holy spirit told Peter to be bold with Mohammad so Peter spoke very bold with him saying, Our God is not yours. His words are very arrogant to Mohammad and he became so angry and he got a thought to kill Peter immediately. When Peter boldly proclaimed the Gospel to Mohammad, Mohammad started crying and he had no idea why he was crying. Peter put his hand on his shoulder and prayed. Later Mohammad got up and left him.
Mohammad called Peter again and asked him to meet again. When they met, Mohammad was very shaken and told that he a dream. Peter came to him and gave him a white envelope dripping with blood. This blood had very good frangrance like musk or perfume. When Mohammad saw the blood, he was so scared. Peter said to him, Don’t be afraid. Then he woke up.
After listening to his dream, Peter told that without shedding of blood, there is no forgiveness of sins. Then Mohammad asked Peter what he had to do to ask for forgiveness. Peter Said that the Lord gave it to you for free. You just have to accept it. Peter gradually began to disciple him.
Then Mohammad immediately confessed to Peter saying, the first when he met Peter, he intended to kill Peter and he fell on his face, crying and repented. Mohammad began to visit Peter regularly and he saw the love that didn’t exist in Islam. He shaved his beard, he changed his whole life. And he asked to be baptized.
Mohammad said, “Once I got out of the water, I felt a victory and joy I could not describe.”
Mohammad is conducting a Bible study for three Syrian people in his area.
Mohammad Quoted, “The true book in my opinion is the Bible. I found the truth in Jesus Christ. And because I surrendered my life to the Lord, I am certain He will never forsake me”
