Mel Gibson’s upcoming christian movie “Hacksaw Ridge” received great appreciation
Actor and Director Mel Gibson’s upcoming Christian War movie received great appreciation and a 10 minute standing ovation at a film festival where it was shown.
The Movie, “Hacksaw Ridge” is based on true story of Private Desmond T.Doss. As a christian having christian faith and beliefs, he joined the army to save lives rather than killing others during World War II. He suffers harassment from his fellow army privates and his officers for not carrying a weapon in war but later he gains respect because of his heroic deeds.
Mel Gibson, after the success of the movie, Passion of the Christ, having a strong faith and testimony, he started sequel to this film that continuous the story of Resurrection. Mel accepted to direct this film, “Hacksaw Ridge” two years back as this story involves true christian values and pacifism.
Hacksaw Ridge was premiered at the 73rd Venice Film festival where it received great appreciation, positive reviews and an enthusiastic standing ovation. It is set to be released in the U.S. on November 4.
