Big Daddy Weave’s Redeemed led a murderer to confess his sin and turn to God
Its almost three years now after the murder of Cesar Lopez-Flores, by Danny Dashay Holmes pleaded guilty when his trail began last week confessing to the murder.
Danny Dashay Holmes brutally shot Lopez-Flores on December 16, 2016 & kidnapped Brittany Johnson in Shelbyville, whom he forced to drive to Lopez-Flores’ home on Indian Park Drive in Murfreesboro.
Holmes addressed the court in his 20 minutes of statement, explaining his decision to confess to the murder. He told that over a year ago, Lord Jesus transformed his life. He felt as if God was putting pressure on him to tell the truth and confess to the murder and other sins. He said he’ll serve a life sentence in prison as a badge of honor.
He said, “I knew the Lord Jesus was just on me, weighing on me over and over to confess his sin (murder).”
“I’m 30-years-old, and I’ve been fighting for nothing all my life. I’ve been fighting for gangs. … I ain’t never fought for anything that made sense. But I knew the Lord was telling me to fight for him this time. I just knew he was stirring on my spirit.”
And the song which made a transformation in him was “Redeemed” from Big Daddy Weave. He showed the lyrics in his notebook which he brought along with him.
Below is the song Redeemed from Big Daddy Weave.
