53rd GMA Dove Awards 2022
World’s most prestigious Christian & Gospel Music awards presenting organisation, GMA Dove has announced 53rd edition of Dove awards on 21st October, 2022 and the program telecasted in TBN on October 22, 2022 hosted by christian artists, Erica Campbell & Chris Tomlin.
Artists were nominated for 36 categories for the year 2022 and many christian artists round the world were nominated for these awards and winners were announced for each category. CeCe Winans was awarded Artist of the year and the song Believe For It by the artist was awarded best song of the year, Anne Wilson for New artist of the year for the popular song, My Jesus. Award ceremony followed by great performances from multiple artists, like Steven Curtis Chapman, TobyMac and many others.
GMA Dove Awards has honored outstanding achievements and excellence in Christian and Gospel Music starting from 1969. Since then it celebrates christian rich musical diversity. Awards were presented to individuals artists for different categories that include modern Rock, Rap/Hip Hop, Pop/Contemporary, Inspirational, Southern Gospel, Urban, Bluegrass, Country, Worship, and more.
