Story Behind the song in writer’s words:
“In the month of December, 2018. After leading worship at a small gathering, me and Danny were heading home. In his car, Danny played a tune that he composed for the Christmas season. But, somehow God is putting in “Manchivada Manchivada, Chala chala manchivada” in my heart. We started singing those words and ended up adding “Needu Krupane Dharalamuga, maapai kummarinchuvada”. This kept on ringing in our hearts for few months. But we didn’t get inspired to do anything further.

In the month of February, I started to Food Court for Lunch@Office. I also called all my friends to accompany me. I was reading the menu and all of sudden, I felt a deep burden to fast and pray. Went to a secluded place and started praying. Holy Spirit God led me through Romans Chapter 5

Immediately, I was inspired to finish the song manchivada which we started long back. Surprisingly, God gave me words and tune for the two verses then and there within one hour of fasting and prayer. I was totally clueless if this verses tune would match the tune for the chorus which was already composed by Danny. But the one who prompted the tune is Omniscient God! Danny said that the tune perfectly syncs with the song.

Now begins the hunt for the Music Producer, we reached out many prominent people, but none of them were available to finish the song arrangement for the shoot. Supernaturally God connected us to Febin Chacko (Chennai) out of nowhere and then Keba as we desired for. I asked one of my malayalee colleagues and my dear sister Liji to write the meaning of the song in Malayalam so that Febin (Mallu) can understand the meaning of the song. Finally Machivada is Produced with the Best Quality Music without taking away the essence in the song! Song came out so well more perfectly than what we have expected. This proved the move of One Spirit among all of us who are from different states.

God has a plan for this song, He led us through the scripture in Romans 2:4 – “…Goodness of God leads to repentance”. This verse encouraged us to go boldly and declare his goodness which leads to Repentance and thus Salvation!
